  5. This is a 'sister' application to my  !MkAdresBk.
  6.  
  7. It is an application for automatically making a  WebPage  
  8. with hot_links of your address Text_File.
  9.  
  10. If you've made an ASCII address file skip down to the section
  11. "Making the Web Page File"

  16. Making the Main  'ADDRESSES'  file.
  17. -----------------------------------

  19. Making a text file of addresses is much more flexible and multi-usable
  20. than typing in the addresses to the address-book in Voyager where
  21. they are stored as a BASIC Data_File and so pretty much un-usable in other
  22. contexts.
  23.  
  24. The file format of the Text_File is crucial, of course.
  25. Just make it as follows -
  26.  
  27.  
  28.    If you want to include one or more Distribution Groups in your main
  29.    Addresses file, you have to have declared the List_Names when making your
  30.    Addresses_File.
  31.  
  32.    Do this by typing the list name you choose and pressing return on its own
  33.    for the "address".

  35. Here's an example of part of a possible main  Addresses  file :

  54. Just make sure to press RETURN once after the last address, and save it.

  59. Making the Web Page File

  62. This is all done automatically for you.
  63. Inside this application you will see a default file called  Header.
  64. This MUST be present in the application.
  65.  
  66. Double click on this, to load it into a text editor.
  67.  
  68. The top two lines MUST be present.
  69.  
  70. They provide the title of the WebPage which appears on the title bar
  71. and the main heading within your page, which will appear in Big Bold Print.
  72.  
  73. Any further lines of information to appear before your address list are
  74. purely optional.
  75. Experiment and see.
  76.  
  77. Just drag your address file on to the  Addr>Web  installed icon and away you go!
